Chetan has 20 years of corporate communications and public relations experience spanning across the US and Asia. For the last 14 years he has specialised in the Asian maritime sector where he has developed a deep understanding of the regions media landscape. This understanding has allowed him to effectively support ship managers, owners, and government entities raise their profile in an increasingly complex and competitive environment. Prior to joining Helix PR Chetan served as Community Relations & Corporate Communications Manager for Eastern Pacific Shipping, Global Corporate Communications Manager for AET Tankers, and Maritime & Communications Affairs Officer for the Embassy of Panama and Panama Registry in Singapore. Chetan graduated with high distinction from The University of Michigan-Dearborn with a BBA in Marketing and currently resides in Singapore. As the Managing Director of Helix PR, Chetan oversees the company’s Asian business strategy, operations, employee development and client satisfaction.
